Welcome to Amy V. Stories

As a third-grade teacher, Amy discovered firsthand that stories are one of the most powerful ways to help children understand life's bigger ideas. Using her stories, she illustrated themes such as kindness, perseverance, friendship, courage, gratitude, slowing down, and many more. Each story "shows, not tells."

Each story is built around meaningful themes, gently woven into the adventures of loveable characters like Sheldon the snail, Penelope Prime, or the tight wad toad.

Each story is written to be read aloud - full of rhythm, warmth, and fun - inviting readers to laugh, reflect, and connect together while also promoting fluency.

For Amy, reading these stories isn't just about reading a story - it's about starting a conversation. Her stories invite children (and the adults who love them) to reflect, connect, and grow together through the magic of reading aloud.

Whether given as a gift, shared at bedtime, or read in a classroom, Amy V. Stories help children and adults create lasting memories through stories and the connection that these stories bring.
